This home is my first full scale project involving each and every aspect of the design - I wanted to reference Frank Lloyd Wright in a modern way with more light in terms of not only windows but of wall tones, furniture etc. all the while paying homage to his work.  A number of talented and patient contractors and craftsmen helped me achieve exactly the look I was after that involved pre-planning of about a year to find almost all the furniture and art collection prior to the renovation.  Call it pre-decorating..  The house in many ways was built as much with the furnishings in mind as with the house itself.  I also had the good fortune of working with my neighbors to blur the boundary lines of our property to create the gardens.  I have collaborated with Sheldon Builders / Eldorado Springs CO, Jesse Brittain / Falcon Builders Denver CO and Pan's Garden's / Boulder CO as well as Lovedy Barbatelli of Barbatelli Signature Interiors for material sourcing and Red Pencil Architecture for the engineering specs for my ideas.
